Ten-year-old Kai Musk had always dreamed of space. While most kids were obsessed with video games or superheroes, Kai spent his weekends building rockets with his father the famous Elon Musk. Together, they had just finished a handcrafted model of the Starship rocket, complete with tiny solar panels, a crew cabin, and even a foldable seat system. It was Kai’s proudest creation, and he was bringing it to school for Show and Tell.
But life at Westlake Academy wasn’t easy for Kai. Being Elon Musk’s son made him a target. The other kids called him names like “Rocket Boy” or “Alien Kid.” One boy in particular Brady never missed a chance to mock him.
